With over thirty years' experience in the hydrocarbon sector, we have extensive expertise in the drafting, negotiation and implementation of Upstream Petroleum Agreements.  Representative agreements include:

Concession Agreements between Host Governments and International Oil Companies; Joint Development Agreements between Nation States; Unitisation and Unit Operating Agreements; Joint Venture Agreements between Oil Companies; Farm-in and Farm-out Agreements; Operational Contracts between Operating Companies and their Contractors; and Oil and Gas Transportation and Sale Agreements.

We act mainly, but not exclusively, for the major oil companies, both operators and non-operators. Clients include: BG, BP, ENI, EnCana, Fairfield, Mobil, Nexen, Petro-Canada, Petrofac, Shell, Statoil, and Total.  We also provide advisory, drafting and negotiation services to Host Governments, National Oil Companies and Energy Fund Managers.

We have extensive international experience, having been involved in exploration and production projects in jurisdictions including: Angola, Equitorial Guinea, Gambia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Syria, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
