"CPTL" and "CP Thorpe" are the trading name of CPT Limited, a company registered in the Isle of Man under company number 126912C.  Registered office:  Ballajora House, Ballajora Hill, Ballajora, Ramsey, Isle of Man, IM7 1AZ.  The Directors of CPT Limited are: Christopher Thorpe and Caroline Hill-Thompson.

Regulation

CPT Limited is a specialist consulting business specialising in upstream petroleum agreements. While some members of our team are legally qualified, CPT Limited is not a law firm and is not authorised or regulated by the Isle of Man Law Society (IMLS), the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Bar Standards Board (BSB) nor any other approved regulator governing lawyers in legal practice.  We do not undertake reserved legal activities.

Clients of practising advocates (who are regulated by the IMLS), practising solicitors (who are regulated by the SRA) and clients of licensed barristers (who are regulated by the BSB) have statutory protections.  Clients of CPT Limited are not clients of a practising advocate, barrister or solicitor and do not, therefore, have these protections.  

Privacy

We only use information you provide about yourself and your company when using our Website to answer your enquiries or to help us improve our services to you.  We do not share this information with any third party outside of CPT Limited except to the extent required by law or regulation or where it is necessary to answer your enquiry if that enquiry requires the involvement of a third party.  

If you choose to supply us with personally identifiable data, such as your name, address, telephone number and email address, we will not transfer or share any of this information with third parties outside CPT Limited without your permission.
